West renovations back to drawing board
West Elementary
School officials are still trying to determine the scope of renovations to West Elementary.
Four renovation design schemes for West Elementary were presented by architect Allen Hill of Upland Design Group and considered by the School Board during its most recent meeting. The School Board is attempting to evenly split the $6 million allotted by Warren County government between Bobby Ray and West Elementary. During the presentation, Hill addressed the primary renovations, including an enclosure connection from gym to main building, parking lot pavement/storm water drainage, electrical panel and receptacle upgrades along with AC for lower level of the school. • Scheme A – For two additional classrooms, library, computer lab, toilets and a connecter from the existing building to the gym if affordable.
