A man who ran from the law and then claimed it was a family emergency when he was later nabbed faces multiple charges.The man, Dakota Levi West, 22, is charged with reckless endangerment, evading arrest, possession of meth, third-offense driving on a revoked license, reckless driving, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He will face hearing Sept. 12.The chase started when sheriff’s investigator Steven Carpenter saw West driving recklessly and running a stop sign in the Blues Hill area. Carpenter tried to pull him over but the suspect refused to stop.
