Warren County Middle School will be getting a new look with administrative offices and a nurse's station to be added to the school.
Fencing is scheduled to be placed at the school this Monday in preparation for construction to begin. School officials want to advise parents about what will be happening.
"Our 7-8 grade parking lot will look a lot different and we will be losing almost half of our parking spaces," said principal Alisa Rice. "This is going to impact how our students are dropped off and picked up from school. We want everyone to be aware of what's going to happen and be patient with us. We've worked out a traffic pattern we think will work. We'll try it and see what happens. If it doesn't work, we'll try something else."
In addition to new offices and a nurse's station, WCMS is getting all of its windows replaced. The school will also be getting a new roof in the coming months so students, parents, and educators will have to dodge all this activity during upcoming school days.
