The state has released its 2021 Tennessee Vacation Guide outlining the Best in Tennessee Tourism and it shined a very favorable spotlight on Warren County.
“We received a total of five unpaid mentions,” said Tourism Development Board chair Sarah Cantrell. “We’ve always understood and appreciated the unique qualities our community has to offer, which makes it even sweeter to see it highlighted on such a larger scale.”
Rock Island State Park made the cover photo for Middle Tennessee. It was nestled between West Tennessee’s cover photo of the Memphis skyline against the Mississippi River and East Tennessee’s cover photo the Foothills Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountains.
“Rock Island State Park’s was a phenomenal shot of Twin Falls,” said Cantrell. “This magazine coverage is pretty huge.”
The magazine is approximately 100 pages. Warren County is mentioned on a total of eight pages.

“We tend to do well, at least over the last year years, we’ve done well in this publication as far as mentions,” said Cantrell. “I don’t know if we’ve been on a section cover like this before. It’s a beautiful picture of Rock Island State Park. I think it’s the prettiest one of the three regions. This is something to brag about. It’s exciting.”
