Tuesday, Dec. 13
The county Highway and Bridge Committee will meet at 4 p.m. at the Highway Department. Budget amendments will be under consideration.
The county Health and Welfare Committee will meet at 5 p.m. On the agenda: 1) Animal Control and Adoption Center report, painting project at the facility, and volunteer waiver for consideration; 2) Health Department report; 3) Sanitation Department report.
The city Building and Grounds Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. for a GIS presentation.
The city Safety Committee will meet at 5:45 p.m. to consider a bid for a fire vehicle.
The city Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 5:55 p.m. On the agenda: 1) consider vehicle bids; 2) consider purchase of a Toro Cushman with top dresser from Smith Turf and Irrigation; 3) consider WCTE’s use of the Park Theater; 4) discuss advisory board for Park Theater.
The city Finance Committee will meet at 6:15 p.m. On the agenda: 1) discuss Farmers Market agreement; 2) discuss ordinances for wine in grocery stores and package liquor stores; 3) review nonprofit financial requirements; 4) bylaws for new Tourism Development Authority.
McMinnville's Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet at 7 p.m. for its regular session. Among the items on the agenda are two resolutions to accept vehicle bids for McMinnville Police Department and one resolution to accept a bid for a mini-excavator for McMinnville Water Department, as well as three ordinances: 1) to change the zoning classification of 101 East End Drive, East End Drive, Edgefield Street, and 102 Edgefield Street from R-2 to R-3; 2) to change the zoning classification of East End Drive and 402 East Colville Street from R-2 to C-2; 3) to authorize the expenditure of $30,000 to Warren County High School. A vice mayor will also be elected.

The county Economic and Agricultural Development Committee will meet at 5 p.m. to discuss Agriculture Extension Committee appointments and term lengths for airport-related boards.
