Jack White has gone batty. The popular musician shows three bats which were presented to him during his trip to Cumberland Caverns.
State officials went 333 feet underground to the depths of a cave to put Warren County on a pedestal.In promoting Tennessee tourism, natural landmarks and our twangy music sound, recording superstar Jack White served as host for a four-band concert Friday night at Cumberland Caverns.Lillie Mae, Margo Price, Joshua Hedley and the Craig Brown Band performed to a packed house of visitors who won their tickets on a Snapchat promotion and were admitted free.“It’s safe to say this is the lowest point in my career,” joked White of the underground setting.The concert was coordinated by the Tennessee Department of Tourism as part of its series called “The Soundtrack of America. Made in Tennessee.” Visitors who won tickets traveled from as far as Michigan and Indiana to attend the show.
