"Elvis" is coming back to the building. In this case, Elvis is Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist champion Cote Deonath and the building is McMinnville's historic Park Theater.

After a performance at the Park last June, Deonath went on to win the Super Bowl of Elvis tribute artist competitions put on at Graceland in Memphis on Aug. 12. The win earned Deonath the title of "Ultimate Elvis," a $20,000 cash prize, a Ultimate Elvis championship Elvis belt and a contract with Elvis Presley Enterprises recognizing him as the No. 1 Elvis tribute artist in the world.

On Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m., Deonath will return to the Park Theater stage. His first show in McMinnville created a buzz which still has people talking and left many sorry they missed his performance. They will get a second chance this Saturday as Deonath returns nearly a year into his reign as Ultimate Elvis.

Deonath is a 27-year-old resident of Ocala, Florida who has dedicated much of his young life to preserving and celebrating the music and legacy of Elvis Presley. Deonath credits his grandmother's influence for his life-long fascination with the King of Rock and Roll. After winning numerous Elvis competitions across North America, Deonath won the ultimate title in August, putting him at the top of his profession. It was his seventh consecutive year finishing in the top 10 in the annual competition, with his win preceded by three consecutive top-three finishes.

The Ultimate Elvis Concert starring Cote Deonath includes several costume changes and encompasses much of Elvis' career and many of his iconic hits. Deonath will be once again backed by The Infinit-E Tribute Band. The show is produced by 49th Place Productions, Deonath's own production company which he established in 2018. He works with Elvis Presley Enterprises and Graceland as the world's largest festival producer, putting on 10 festivals and over 35 tribute concerts per year.

Tickets for Saturday's show range from $25 - $65 plus tax. Floor seats are almost completely sold out, but a limited number of balcony seats remain.

Visit the Park Theater box office at 115 W. Main Street, go to mcminnvilleparktheater.com or call (931) 506-2787 for tickets. Doors for Saturday's show open at 6 p.m.
