Sentences were handed down this past week by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:Nicholas Keith Holland was ordered to serve 120 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $1,100 plus costs, and lose his driver license for six years for third-offense DUI.Jose Carlos Zarazua was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs for simple possession of drugs and driving without a license.Jeremy B. Mayfield was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $50 plus costs for driving on a suspended license. He was given another 90 days for violation of probation.Guillermo Mendoza was instructed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $50 plus costs for second-offense driving on a revoked license.Melinda R. Womack was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and must pay $50 plus costs for driving on a revoked license.Angela Watkins was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI Class and lose her driver license for one year for DUI.Curtis Eugene King was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, attend DUI School, perform 24 hours public service work and lose driving privileges for one year for DUI. He was fined an additional $150 for possession of drug paraphernalia.Lynette Santiago was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a revoked license.Angela M. Merriman was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs for driving on a suspended license.William J. Peacock was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a suspended license.Jeffery S. Grissom was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a revoked license.Joneta Louise Foster, Zachary A. Barrett, Kristopher Michael Davis and Juana Gomez must pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
