Torrential Tuesday
Community drenched by downpours
A car makes a splash as it hits a puddle Tuesday afternoon on North Chancery Street.

Steady downpours for much of Tuesday left McMinnville with 3.32 inches of rain for the day, according to official rainfall totals from McMinnville Water Plant.
The heavy rain also prompted a message from Warren County Schools advising parents some school buses may not be able to run their routes as normal.
The soggy Tuesday is expected to make way for a more pleasant Wednesday with only a 7 percent chance of rain, according to AccuWeather. However, there will be a new-found nip in the air as overnight temperatures are expected to drop to 45 degrees.
