Elizabeth Bryant leads cheers Tuesday night at Nunley Stadium as football kicked off in Warren County. The WCMS Pioneers squared off against Franklin North and the Pioneers grabbed a 6-0 lead off a fake punt TD by Creed Adams. However, the Pioneers couldn't hold on as Franklin North rallied for a 26-12 win on opening night. In high school soccer action Tuesday night, the WCHS Lady Pioneers captured a 5-1 win over Ooltewah in what's expected to be a strong season for the Warren County girls.
The start of high school football season has created a whirlwind of excitement.
