Warren County School Board recognized its retiring staff Thursday night with a banquet in their honor. Twenty-one individuals with a combined 530 years of experience left the school system during, or upon completion of, the 2016-17 school year.“We’re happy this evening to honor those who have served our school system, community, and most of all the children of Warren County,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox. “The staff members this evening who are retiring from service are opening the next chapter in their lives, but they have influenced in a positive way possibly hundreds, or even thousands, of children in a way that will make a difference in their lives forever.”Almost half of the 530 years were accumulated by seven individuals who served 30 or more years: Ann Eades with 40, Debbie Allen with 40, Ann Frye with 38, Judy Sullivan with 37, Peggy Woods with 35, Sandy Hendrix with 31, and Terri Mullican with 30.
