Amos shows his support for an upcoming Taco Bar and Bake Sale by Helping Animals of Warren County. The event is being held at the Moose Lodge this Saturday, July 27, from 5-7 p.m. and is a fundraiser for the organization formed to help animals. All you can eat tacos are $6 per person.

Helping Animals of Warren County is providing one more reason to love tacos, as a fundraiser to benefit animals.

This Saturday, July 27, from 5-7 p.m., HAWC will be holding a Taco Bar/ Bake Sale at the Moose Lodge on Smithville Highway. The menu includes all-you-can-eat tacos for $6 per person. While there, participate in a silent auction and browse the bake sale for a delicious dessert.

“Come and support this great cause,” said Hollie Cox, president of HAWC. “Help us help the animals of Warren County. This taco bar and bake sale support spay-and-neuter initiatives in our community. The more money HAWC raises, the more animals that are able to be fixed in Warren County.”

The group is also participating in a pet-friendly free movie night next month in partnership with McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department and The Redemption Center.

“On Aug. 24 at dark, we have teamed with McMinnville Parks and Recreation to have a pet-friendly, free movie at Ramsey Park,” said Cox. “The Redemption Center will be showing “How to Train your Dragon 3” and serving popcorn and drinks for the humans. HAWC will be set up to provide treats and water to your furbabies. We will also have spay-and-neuter vouchers available as well as some goodies you can get for a donation.”

Helping Animals of Warren County is a nonprofit organization formed with a purpose of united people and organizations in the community to help animals. For more information about the organization, visit its Facebook page.
