A man who pulled a knife on deputies and had to be tased three times before being taken into custody is facing a laundry list of charges.The suspect, Gregory Lynn Sowell, 36, not only faces charges for fighting with officers, but also for beating his wife and threatening to slit her throat. He will face hearing April 5 on charges of aggravated domestic assault, aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest, evading arrest and failure to appear in court.Deputies tried to arrest Sowell for beating his wife at his residence on Viola Road but he tried to evade them by driving away as they were knocking on his door. Sowell was stopped and immediately bolted from his vehicle, trying to outrun lawmen on foot.“He got on the ground,” said sheriff’s deputy Joseph VanBommel.
