Things went south for a would-be drug smuggler after the narcotics she was trying to mule into the jail began to dissolve inside her.The woman, Sara N. South, 32, has been charged with introduction of drugs into the county jail. Her charges came as she was being booked into Warren County Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation. It was during the search of her person that jailers discovered she had something concealed inside her body.“She had a quantity of suspected methamphetamine concealed inside her,” said McMinnville policeman Austin Wortman who had arrested her earlier.Since the bag that contained the meth had started to disintegrate inside her and could have led to an overdose, she was rushed to Saint Thomas River Park Hospital for treatment.“The plastic bag was removed with most of the methamphetamine being dissolved in her system,” Wortman revealed. What remained of the bag was examined and contained meth residue.
