In a musical tribute to St. Valentine’s Day, the Warren County High School select choir will offer a bouquet of love songs in concert on Thursday, Feb. 14, at First Presbyterian Church.

As host for the event, The Rotary Club of McMinnville invites the general public to attend and enjoy the romantic music with them.

The program will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of the historic First Presbyterian Church at 205 West Main Street.  The free concert, directed by WCHS music teacher Kennette Dixon, will feature unforgettable loves songs and ballads and is expected to conclude about 1 p.m.

“Rotarians support humanitarian, educational and cultural development in many different ways in more than 3,000 clubs around the world,” said Susan Marttala, president of the club. “We are happy to offer this program to the public as a local expression of that global outreach.

“Rotary is also very active in supporting our young people as the future leaders of the community and world,” she continued. “This Valentine’s Day concert promotes cultural enrichment on the local scene while showcasing the impressive talents and ability of our students.”
