A man who molested a little girl for years beginning when she was just 4 will never again see the light of day from outside a prison cell after he was given 153 years in prison for his crimes.The child molester, John David Smartt Jr., 49, was handed the record sentence by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley after prosecutors requested Smartt be given the maximum following his conviction on 12 felony counts earlier this year. The 153 years issued to Smartt is believed to be the longest sentence ever handed down in Warren County. Most of the 153 years is to be served at 100 percent without chance of parole.
