Warren County Board of Education held its annual Legislative Reception on Tuesday night. The event is a chance for school officials to meet with state senators and representatives to discuss items of interest in the upcoming legislative session that will begin Jan. 10, specifically any items that might impact public education in either a positive or negative way. “We want to try to meet with our legislators before the session starts because we know you get extremely, extremely busy when it does,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox.
