Redmon charged for spitting on guard

A Warren County Jail inmate has been hit with a felony charge for spitting in the face of a guard.The woman, Candy Nicole Redmon, 38, has been charged with aggravated assault, a crime that carries three to six years in prison if convicted.Her charge comes for an incident that happened in the F-Pod of Warren County Jail where Redmon was a prisoner.“Candy Redmon asked to speak with her,” the warrant reads, saying she beckoned corrections officer Mackenzie Miller to her. “The corrections officer walked toward her and without warning Ms. Redmon spit into her face and started to curse her.”The guard called for her supervisor who arrived and ordered Redmon to her bunk. She refused and said he would have to tase her.
