Relax and experience travel by rail.

Watch Tennessee roll past your wide sightseeing window aboard one of Tennessee Central Railway Museum’s special excursion trains and become part of the fun with a trip that includes something special. TCRM has tickets for its first three fall excursions on sale.

On Sept. 5, the railway is offering its Watertown Fall Fest Excursion. It features a 90-mile round trip to Watertown for a fall festival featuring live music, 1950s-era contests, a car show, beer and wine tent, great food, shopping and much more. There will be a three-hour layover so passengers can experience all the festivities.

On Sept. 26, there will be a Train Robbery Excursion. The Mackle and Wilson Gangs are on the loose again. Rumors are they will attempt to hold up the train on its way to Watertown.

Here’s your chance to ride along and see how true those rumors are. There might even be a shootout in Watertown among the U.S. Marshall and the Mackle-Wilson Gangs.

On Oct. 10, there will be a Mile Long Yard Sale Excursion. Ride on a restored classic streamlined stainless steel passenger train to the biggest yard sale in Middle Tennessee. Enjoy the spring scenery on the 90-mile round trip to Watertown and one of Tennessee’s most popular multi-yard sales.

No food or drink may be brought on board the train, but refreshments and souvenirs are for sale on board the train.

Tickets for children under 12 are $21, coach seats are $42, and dome seats are $85. For departure and arrival times, or to purchase tickets, visit www.tcry.org or call 615-241-0436.
