The two candidates for McMinnville mayor spoke Thursday during the weekly meeting of The Rotary Club of McMinnville.Both candidates took seven minutes to give an opening statement before answering questions from the audience.If you missed the program, it will be broadcast this week on WCPI 91.3 FM. The event in its entirely will be broadcast Monday, Sept. 19, at 10:05 a.m. and again at 10:10 p.m., followed by a repeat Wednesday at 3:05 p.m.The two candidates will also be invited to a Southern Standard/ WCPI political forum to be held in October at Warren County Administrative Offices.Other candidates who will be invited to the political forum include those running for McMinnville alderman. In that race, four candidates are vying for three seats. The candidates are Ben Newman, Mike Neal, Jimmy Bonner, and Kate Medley Alsbrooks.The two candidates for 43rd District Tennessee House of Representatives will be invited.
