Prom Night
Enchanted Woodland awaits
Warren County High School seniors Ty Goodwin and Tori Reynolds move a decorative tree in preparation for Friday night's prom at the WCHS gym. It's expected to be the largest prom crowd in around a decade.
WCHS seniors and their dates are eager to dance the night away. There has been a surge in prom ticket sales this year, according to organizer Linda Taylor.“We’ve sold 450 tickets and that’s the most tickets we’ve sold for the prom in probably 10 years,” said Taylor. The prom theme is Enchanted Woodland and the prom song is “Who You Love” from John Mayer. Jason Gross of The Sound Machine was busy testing out the sound system Thursday afternoon and says prom attendees will be treated to 10,000 watts of music. The night will be even more memorable for two seniors who will be named Prom King and Queen. Vying for the title of Prom King are boys Hunter Hawkins, Logan Dyer, Abraham Pumarino, and Gerardo Cereceres.
