If you’re praying for a close relationship with God, you’re on the right track.That’s according to Rev. Tommy Vann, guest speaker Tuesday morning at the One Nation Under God prayer breakfast organized by McMinnville’s Evening Exchange Club.“To pray means we have a relationship with God,” said Vann, who indicated communication is vital no matter the relationship. “In my 31 years of marriage, every time I messed up it was because I didn’t talk to my wife. The bottom line of prayer is it’s all about relationship.”Vann, who preaches at First United Methodist Church, says prayer can be an integral part of our lives.
