Officials may take look at feathered friends in city
McMinnville officials are once again receiving complaints from residents crying fowl about chickens in the city. Previous discussions in 2013 and 2014 produced no action.
McMinnville officials could once again turn their attention to rural animals making their way into an urban setting. Will 2016 be the year they put tougher restrictions on feathered friends? “There have been lots and lots more complaints to animal control and I know codes has received several of those as well,” said Mayor Jimmy Haley, during last week’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.
