No tickets left for Pioneer opener
FALL SPORTS 2020 COVER.png

For what is believed to be the first time in school history, tickets are not available for a Warren County High School football game.

Due to COVID restrictions, only 600 spectators will be allowed in the stadium for Friday night’s opener between DeKalb County and the Pioneers.

Of those 600 tickets, 400 have been allocated for DeKalb County with 200 for Warren County. Those tickets have already been distributed to family members and no tickets will be sold at the gate.

The game should be a dandy. DeKalb County reached the third round of last year’s playoffs, while the Pioneers are feeling good about the star power returning from last year’s 4-6 team.

To keep fans as updated as possible on game action, Southern Standard reporters will be making Facebook Live posts from the sidelines, as long as cellphone service permits, and updating our website, www.southernstandard.com.
