A woman caught drunk driving with three children in her car has been charged with reckless endangerment. The woman, Teri B. Coppinger, 34, has been hit with three counts of reckless endangerment along with one count of drunk driving. She has also been given a ticket for violation of the light law, the latter leading to her being pulled over by McMinnville policeman Justin Cobble who was investigating a reckless driving call.“I saw a vehicle matching the caller’s description and it had a rear tail-light cover broken,” Cobble said, noting that gave him cause to stop the black Ford Explorer. The officer said he immediately knew something was amiss when he spoke to the driver. “Ms. Coppinger’s speech was slurred and she performed unsatisfactorily.”The policeman found three children in her vehicle, including a 10-year-old in the front seat and 11- and 9-year-olds in the back. The officer took her into custody and waited for the children’s father to arrive to take them home.
