Meth house to cost $18,600 to raze

A meth house on Higginbotham Road will cost city taxpayers $18,600 to remove. McMinnville Building and Grounds Committee members Steve Harvey and Ryle Chastain met Tuesday to review bids for removal of the home located at 131 Higginbotham Road. Alderman Ben Newman was absent.Bids were received from Evergreen AES for $58,070 and Hall’s Excavating and Backhoe for $18,600.“We went out for bids and received two,” said McMinnville Planning and Zoning director Nolan Ming.
