Warren County Sheriff Jackie Matheny and about a dozen other law enforcement officials were on the scene Tuesday night atop Harrison Ferry Mountain after a man was shot.
The first call to 911 was reported around 6:45 p.m.
The incident took place on Lewis Road, which is off Rocky Top Road by the old Joyce's Market.
Sheriff Matheny said details are sketchy but it appears the two men were hanging out together in the home located on a dead-end road in a remote part of the county. An argument reportedly erupted leading to the shooting.
Matheny said he did not have names of the people involved.
More details will be provided as they become available.
