A man has been given a month in jail for shooting a gun through his mother’s front door after a disagreement over his daughter.The man, Jordan Baxter Couch, 25, entered guilty pleas before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to lesser charges of domestic assault and misdemeanor reckless endangerment. He was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence. He was originally charged with felony assault and could have faced three to six years in prison.
