A dog surrendered by its owner after it ran afowl of the law three weeks ago is ready for its second chance. Mae, an 18-month-old husky mix, was featured in the Southern Standard on May 6 when she broke into her neighbor’s yard and killed at least two chickens. She was surrendered to McMinnville Animal Control by her owner and after five days, placed up for adoption with an $85 adoption fee.
