A field of blue could offer a cooler eating experience for Gilley Pool visitors this summer. Two shade structures have been placed over the eating area next to Gilley Pool’s concession stand to offer visitors much-needed sun protection and increased comfort while they eat, relax and socialize. “When people are out of the pool and trying to enjoy something to eat or drink, they don’t want the sun beating down on them,” said McMinnville Parks and Recreation assistant director Justin Scott.
