Little Fairest set for Sept. 13

Claire Breedlove, the reigning 2021 Little Fairest of the Fair, will relinquish her crown on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Applications are available for the 35th annual Little Fairest of the Fair Pageant.

The 35th annual Little Fairest of the Fair Pageant will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13 during the Warren County A&L Fair at the grandstand beginning at 7 p.m.

The pageant is open to girls who have been residents of Warren County for at least six months, and are between the ages of 7 and 9 by the day of the contest.

Registration for the pageant will be Aug. 18 from 4-7 p.m. at Caney Fork Electric auditorium, and Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Caney Fork. 

An entry form and a $25 entry fee must be submitted on one of these dates, as well as a wallet size photo of the contestant along with $5 for publication in the newspaper. Applications will only be accepted at these times.

Contestants must attend a rehearsal Sept. 8 in order to be in the pageant. 

Applications are available at Merle Norman Cosmetics, Ashley’s Attic. Upton’s Bridal, Children’s Red Door or the Southern Standard.
