The executive director of the Tennessee Nurses Association, Sharon Adkins, says a proposal for limited expansion of Medicaid would cover fewer uninsured citizens but would cost more than Gov. Haslam’s Insure Tennessee plan, which was blocked twice in state Senate committees. “The plan would not cover everyone,” Adkins told The Rotary Club of McMinnville on Thursday.
