Rachel Killebrew, the only female programmer for the Apollo 11 mission to the moon, stands with the plaque she received for her involvement, as well as the iconic photo of Buzz Aldrin on the surface of the moon with the Apollo 11 ship in the reflection of his helmet.
It was one small step for man, one giant leap for womankind as Rachel Killebrew, 78, a McMinnville native, shot for the moon as the only female involved in the Apollo 11 launch.
