General Sessions Judge Bill Locke says he is not to blame.
Pointing fingers about who’s to blame for an overcrowding issue at Warren County Jail may have come to an end. General Sessions Judge Bill Locke met with county Correction Partnership Committee members Morris Bond, Carl D. Bouldin, Linda Jones, Kenny Roberts and Scott Rubley on Friday morning to deny allegations he is contributing to overloading the jail and creating the need for a $7.5 million expansion.“You hear stuff about what’s going on up here in court and you read things in the paper and it occurred to me there might be a misunderstanding about what we do up here,” said Locke. Locke was referring to comments made by Bouldin during a prior committee meeting to consider which architect to hire for the jail expansion.
