Kaydence Walling flashes a big smile while giving the Easter Bunny a hug at last year’s Junior Auxiliary Hopping into Health. The event returns to Three Star Mall on April 9.

Spring is in the air and no bunny likes it more than Peter Cottontail.

The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures during Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville’s Hopping into Health, an Easter-related event geared toward the health and safety of children. It’s set for Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m.

“We are very excited for this event,” said Ashley Roberts, JA member. “We’re even more excited to see all the members of our community come out and have a great time to kick off the start of spring.”

Hopping into Health is skipping back to Three Star Mall. Last year it was offered at West Elementary.  The year prior, Three Star Mall.

There will be different booths set up offering games, prizes, and other fun activities and gifts from various businesses in Warren County.

“Highland Rim CrossFit will be present and also there will be a Junior Auxiliary member performing yoga sessions to participate in,” said Roberts. “A hula hoop contest and story time are also other fun activities we will have that day.”

Activities to be held at the mall include:

• Storytime by Magness Library, 10 to 10:15 a.m.

• Hula Hoop competition, 10:15 to 10:30 a.m.

• Highland Rim CrossFit, 10:30 to 11 a.m.

• Yoga, 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Along with traditional eggs and lots of Easter fun, children will be given treats and prizes.

Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville’s Hopping into Health is April 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Three Star Mall.
