Looking to maintain pieces from our past, a Historic Preservation Conference will be offered by Main Street McMinnville on Friday, March 3.The conference will be held at Magness Library with registration open to attendees from the Upper Cumberland Region and surrounding counties.Speakers representing federal, state and regional agencies will talk on topics pertaining to historic preservation and downtown revitalization. There will be a panel discussion on guidelines for historic preservation.There is no charge to register for the conference, which is funded in part by a USDA Rural Business Development Grant. A continental breakfast and box lunch are available for $10.
