We are not asking you to move mountains, just a mountain of crushed rock, says Wally Bigbee in asking for volunteers to assist in spreading a layer of crushed rock on the tread way of the new hiking trail. A work day has been set for June 9 at 9 a.m.
A wooded hiking trail along Barren Fork River needs more TLC. Volunteers are needed next Saturday, June 9, at 9 a.m. to continue working on The Bigbee Trail. Workers of all strength levels are needed to help carry and spread a layer of crushed rock on the tread way of the new hiking trail along the Barren Fork River from the Beersheba Street Bridge downstream toward Rocket Park. “We will meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 9 at the junction of South Elm Street and Chestnut streets.
