Lisa Hobbs photo At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, it was a ghost town at Gilley Pool. The sounds of splashing ended abruptly when one visitor complained of feeling bad due to a health condition. The decision was made to close early on the last day of summer vacation.
The Gilley Pool closed early Tuesday due to a health scare that eventually turned out to be unfounded. According to city administrator Bill Brock, the closure was precautionary. “We had a lady that got to feeling bad and an ambulance was called,” said Brock.
