Guardrail, raises will have to wait
AC1web
This vehicle slid off the Animal Control driveway on Tuesday. Plans to improve the driveway have been put on hold for now.
The brakes have been placed on a guardrail to prevent motorists from backing off an embankment at Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center, and a salary increase for the facility’s staff has been rejected. On July 18, a motorist backing out of the facility’s winding driveway accidently backed off the embankment. Visitors wanting to adopt an animal or drop off a food donation must back down the driveway to get turned around if the parking lot is full and prohibits turning around.
