The brakes have been placed on a guardrail to prevent motorists from backing off an embankment at Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center, and a salary increase for the facility’s staff has been rejected. On July 18, a motorist backing out of the facility’s winding driveway accidently backed off the embankment. Visitors wanting to adopt an animal or drop off a food donation must back down the driveway to get turned around if the parking lot is full and prohibits turning around.
