Richard Graham has returned to McMinnville from the West Coast for a free gospel music concert this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Gathering Place Church at 2100 Morrison Street.

Richard Graham made the journey to the West Coast nine years ago. He left McMinnville to relocate to Fresno, Calif., where he has performed at more than 650 gospel events since 2007.
Now Graham has returned to visit McMinnville and offer a free gospel music concert this Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Gathering Place Church at 2100 Morrison Street.
“We’ll have seating for 500 people,” said Graham. “People can come and go as they please if they don’t want to stay the entire three hours.”
Graham loves performing and is known for breaking out in song at any time. In addition to his singing, he has a radio talk show called “Kountry Kuzins” in California.
Joining Graham this Friday will be Daniel Campbell, Ken Youngblood, Jeremy James, Tommy Wannyn and Gary Argo. Barbara Dillard and Madelynn Bogle will emcee the gospel concert.
“We’ll start with songs and prayer,” said Graham. “Then we’ll have a recognition ceremony for Bud Godwin, who did so much for gospel music, and for Bill McCormick. Then we’ll have a jam session followed by more songs.”
