Criminal and Traffic dockets were heard by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court Thursday, Sept. 12. Included in Thursday’s action:

• Oscar Rolando Chevez pleaded guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation and ordered to pay a $150 fine. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a schedule VI drug and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $250 fine, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively. 

• Guapi Diaz pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• Juan Pedro Govea-Teran pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Lelan Darcy Hillis pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was sentenced to six months probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• Brittany Angela Locke pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.

• Jose Lopez pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• Jose Nicolas Lopez pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a registration law violation and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• A capias was issued for Damien Patrick Mert for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving on a suspended license, financial responsibility law violation and a light law violation.

• Dalton James Murphy pleaded guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs. 

• Larry Ryan Pack was ordered to pay a $500 contribution to the drug fund, plus court costs and ordered to obey all laws. He is charged with simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia. He was also ordered to pay a $30 fine for a seatbelt violation. This matter will be reviewed in March. 

• Kertis Alan Pitman pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and was assessed a $30 fine. 

• Francisco Arenas Ramirez pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• Desirena Raymundo pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• Yovani Orvin Zelaya Rios pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to failure to obey a traffic light/stop sign and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to a registration violation and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $10 fine and ordered to pay restitution to the victim, which will be satisfied through a cash bond.

• A capias was issued for Omar Romero for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving without a license and financial responsibility law violation. 

• Elizabeth Sanson waived her right to a preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with DUI first offense and simple possession. 

• Pedro Antonio Miranda Saravia pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• Joseph Ralph Vaner pleaded guilty to failure to yield and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Sebastian Almag Balderas Almaguer pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $350 fine, plus court costs, ordered to perform 24 hours of public service work, ordered to attend the victim impact panel, DUI education course, and loss of driving privileges for one year. 

• Teresa Bell pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $750 fine, plus court costs, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. She also pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and was sentenced to six months to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation and assessed a $50 fine. These sentences run concurrently. 

• Bobby G. Cantrell, Jr. pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $350 fine, plus court costs, ordered to perform 24 hours of public service work, ordered to attend the victim impact panel, DUI education course, and loss of driving privileges for one year. 

• Gaetano Carrubba pleaded guilty to DUI second offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 45 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation with the Adult Recovery Court, ordered to pay a $600 fine, plus court costs, attend the victim impact panel and alcohol safety education class, loss of driving privileges for 2 years and ordered to pay restitution. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license due to a DUI and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 5 days in jail the balance on supervised probation. These sentences run concurrently. He also pleaded guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $25 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered vehicle on the highway and was assessed a $25 fine. 

• A capias was issued for Michael Anthony Jordan for a failure to appear and his bond was revoked. He is charged with driving on a revoked license. 

• Timothy E. Miller pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, plus court costs, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was assessed a $50 fine. 

• Hani Nasser pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• James Robert Newby pleaded guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $150 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation. These sentences run consecutively. He also pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered vehicle on the highway and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to a registration violation and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• Andrea Shelton Russell waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with driving on a suspended license. 

• Andrew Michael Tanner pleaded guilty to a child restraint violation and was assessed a $55 fine.

• Essence Faith Wikerson waived her right to a preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with two counts of driving on a suspended license and a registration violation.
