Criminal dockets were heard by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court Tuesday, Sept. 17. Included in Tuesday’s action:
• A capias was issued for Sheela Avva for a failure to appear and her bond was revoked. She is charged with resisting arrest.
• Gaetano Carrubba is charged with being a fugitive from justice and waived his extradition. This matter will be reviewed in October.
• Taronta S. Clayton, Jr. waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding.
• Toby Chad Crawford pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Joshua Lee Dowdy pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to criminal contempt for a failure to appear and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively.
• Cecilia Garcia pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
• Matthew Dylan Hillis pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to criminal contempt for a failure to appear and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively. He also pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and was assessed a $30 fine.
• Caisey Jones pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. She also pleaded guilty to allowing underage consumption and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation and ordered to pay court costs. These sentences run consecutively.
• Jordan Michael Kennedy pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to another count of driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to six months to serve 48 hours, the balance on supervised probation and assessed a $50 fine. He also pleaded guilty to the criminal offense of failure to appear and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation and assessed court costs. These sentences run consecutively. He also pleaded guilty to financial responsibility law violation and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to expired registration and was assessed a $10 fine.
• Charles D. Self pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to six days in jail and his probation was extended six months for compliance of community service.
• Cristhian Marco Llerena Sucumbios pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Richard Adam Clark pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 120 days in jail.
• David Alexander pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 45 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to successfully complete the Batterers Intervention course, have no contact with the victim and pay court costs.
• Christopher Patrick Allen pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 120 days in jail. He also pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to have no contact with the victim, ordered to successfully complete the Batterers Intervention program and assessed court costs. He also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and was sentenced to six months on supervised probation. The last two counts run concurrently but are consecutive to the violation of probation sentence.
• Peter Bonfiglio II pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to successfully complete an anger management course, have no contact with the victim and assessed court costs.
• Keyonna Lashea Bryan pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 10 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay restitution, assessed a $75 fine to the economic crime fund, plus court costs.
• Kaleb L. Cantrell pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He also waived his preliminary hearing on his new matters, in which he is charged with aggravated domestic assault, aggravated burglary, violation of an order of protection and leaving the scene of an accident.
• Austin Garrett Green was admitted into the Second Chance Program. He is charged with domestic assault and was ordered to pay court costs, successfully complete an anger management course and have no contact with the victim.
• Jeovani Jantes Carranco waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
• Angela Carroll pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. She also pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and assessed court costs. These sentences run consecutively
• Crysalin Conley pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 35 days in jail. She also pleaded guilty to unlawful exposure and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 10 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to have no contact with the victim and assessed court costs.
• Phillip Thomas Frizzell pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 10 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to forfeit the weapon and assessed court costs.
• James Joplin pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 20 days in jail and assessed court costs.
• Nina Jean Judkins pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to successfully complete an anger management course, have no contact with the victim and assessed court costs.
• Peggy Martin waived her right to a preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with forgery.
• Grober Molina pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 10 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to have no contact with the victim, successfully complete an anger management course and assessed court costs.
• Sergio Coronado De Santiago waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with aggravated assault.
• John Stella pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and assessed court costs. He also pleaded guilty to vandalism and was ordered to serve 170 days in jail and banned from the victim’s premises. These sentences run consecutively.
• Jonathon M. Whiteaker waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with felony filing of a false report and misuse of a 911 call.
