Criminal arraignments, trial dockets and traffic dockets were heard on Thursday by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Traffic and Criminal Court. Included in Thursday’s actions are the following:
• Jose Vinicio Arroyo Ruiz pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine.
• Marcos Gomez Chaparro pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.
• Orellana Cruz pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.
• A capias was issued for Joseph Dunford for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving on a suspended license and window tint violation.
• Luis Angel Avila Espinoza pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.
• A capias was issued for Tomas Joel Avila Guity for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving on a suspended license second or subsequent offense and violation of registration law.
• Henry Vasquez Hernandez was ordered to attend safe driving school and assessed court costs for speeding.
• Kristen Rebecca Jones pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine plus court costs.
• Natasha Ann King was ordered to complete safe driving school and pay court costs. She is charged with failure to yield.
• Fredy Hernandez Lara pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $350 fine plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, attend the victim impact panel, perform 24 hours of litter pickup, complete the alcohol safety education class and loss of driving privileges for one year.
• A capias was issued for Rudy A. Perez Lucas for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving on a suspended license, financial responsibility law violation and failure to stop at a traffic light/stop sign.
• Timothy David Maples pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $350 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, attend the victim impact panel, perform 24 hours of litter pickup, complete the alcohol safety education class and loss of driving privileges for one year.
• Ashley M. McKinnon pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $350 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, attend the victim impact panel, perform 24 hours of litter pickup, complete the alcohol safety education class and loss of driving privileges for one year.
• Ito Naoyuki pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a communication device while driving and was assessed a $50 fine. He also pleaded guilty to running a stop sign/traffic light and was assessed a $10 fine plus court costs.
• Felipe De Jesus Montano Ordonez pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.
• Ma Cruz De Leon Ortiz pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine.
• Maria Perez pleaded guilty to running a stop sign/traffic light and was assessed a $10 fine. She also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. She also pleaded guilty to a window tint violation and was assessed a $10 fine.
• A capias was issued for Eugene Phillips for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving on a suspended license.
• Tryston A. Richardson pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $350 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, attend the victim impact panel, perform 24 hours of litter pickup, complete the alcohol safety education class and loss of driving privileges for one year.
• Carlos Garcia Sanchez was ordered to complete safe driving school and pay court costs for speeding.
• Deandre Harold Jose Thomas was ordered to complete safe driving school and pay court costs for speeding.
• John M. Thomas pleaded guilty to failure to exercise due care and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to failure to stop at a traffic light/stop sign and was assessed a $10 fine.
• A capias was issued for Tanner Vaughn A/K/A Tanner Vaugh for a failure to appear. He is charged with driving on a suspended license.
• Cara Ann Walls pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine plus court costs.
• Brandi Denise Alamilla pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $750 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. She also pleaded guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation and ordered to pay a $150 fine. These sentences run concurrently.
• Kevin Lynn Boyd pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $750 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.
• Jeffrey Scott Grissom pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
• Augustin Sandoval Guerra had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with public intoxication. The court also raised his bond from $1,500 to $10,000 and ordered that he refrain from consuming alcohol and ordered that he be monitored by the Adult Recovery Court with random alcohol testing.
• Clay Hawkins pleaded guilty to DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $350 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, attend the victim impact panel, perform 24 hours of litter pickup, complete the alcohol safety education class and loss of driving privileges for one year.
• Brent Hood pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and was assessed a $30 fine.
• Jessie Stephen Judkins pleaded guilty to five violations of probation and was sentenced to a total of 240 days in jail.
• Mark Eli Locke was ordered to attend safe driving school and pay court costs for speeding.
• Joel D. McClure pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 120 days in jail. He also pleaded guilty to DUI second offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 45 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to pay a $650 fine, plus court costs, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, perform 24 hours of litter pickup, attend the victim impact panel, complete the alcohol safety education class and loss of driving privileges for 2 years. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license second or subsequent offense and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. These sentences consecutively.
• Jessica Lynn Meeks pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
• Davey Duwayne Sanders waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with DUI first offense, driving an unregistered vehicle on the highway and financial responsibility law violation.
• Adam James Swafford waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
• Richard William Vaughn, Sr. pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 7 days in jail and ordered to have no contact with the victim and was also banned from the victim’s premises.
• A capias was issued for Michael Tremayne Woods for a failure to appear and his bond was revoked. He is charged with possession of a Schedule II drug fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, driving while in possession of methamphetamine, unlawful drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license.
