Criminal arraignments and trial dockets were heard on Tuesday by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court. Included in Tuesday’s actions are the following:

• John E. Carter pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. His probation was also extended for six additional months.

• Edwin David Congdon waived extradition. He is charged with being a fugitive from justice. This matter will be reviewed in June.

• Derek Jones was ordered to pay a $250 contribution, plus court costs and complete 48 hours of community service. He is charged with underage consumption. This matter will be reviewed in November.

• Christian Juarez pleaded guilty to allowing animals to run at large and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.

• Luis Nohel Obando pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. He also was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs on a capias.  

• Penny M. Pinegar pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. 

• Randy Ross pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was sentenced to three days in jail, assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. 

• Sabrina Jaelyn Shirah pleaded guilty to fishing without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.

• A capias was issued against Michael Wright for a failure to appear and his bond was revoked. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug paraphernalia. 

• Tracy Atterson pleaded guilty to two violations of probation and was revoked to serve his sentences in jail. These sentences run consecutively. He is also charged with assault and waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound this new case to the grand jury.

• Caniel Carr waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four counts of mitigated statutory rape.

• Jaylan Dominque Donnell pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 36 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to successfully complete an anger management class, pay court costs and have no contact with the victim. 

• Larry Albert Lawson pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 120 days in jail. He also waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his new case to the grand jury. He is charged with four counts of violation of bond conditions. 

• Jonathan Tyler Lynne pleaded guilty to a violation of an order of protection and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, ordered to stay away from the victim, assessed a $150 fine plus court costs.

• Jeffery Allen Madewell waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with forgery and passing of a worthless check.

• Michael D. McDowell pleaded guilty to simple possession of a schedule IV substance and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, ordered to pay a $750 fine, plus court costs. This sentence runs consecutive to any other sentence he is serving. He also pleaded guilty to simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was assessed a $250 fine.  

• Terry Lee McNeil pleaded guilty to simple possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, assessed a $900 fine, plus court costs and ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. 

• Johnathan Wayne Trapp waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with two counts of child abuse, three counts of domestic assault and one count of interference with 911 calls. 

• Moises Valazquez was admitted into the Second Chance Program and was ordered to complete an anger management class, pay court costs and have no further incidents with the victim. He is charged with domestic assault and this matter will be reviewed in November.

• Adrian Kody Walden pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced 90 days in jail. He also bound his new charges to the grand jury and waived his preliminary hearing. He is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, and violation of an order of protection. 

• Jason Young waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with attempted assault, public intoxication, assault and harassment.
