Criminal arraignment and trial dockets were heard on Tuesday by Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court.
Included in Tuesday’s action:
• Terry Ray Barnes pled to 180 days to serve in the Warren County Jail for VOP (violation of probation). Consecutive to that sentence, he was ordered to serve 60 days for possession of a Schedule III drug and methamphetamine; consecutive to that, serve 120 days for escape for an effective 360 days flattened sentence in jail, two $750 fines, plus court costs.
• Rodrick Cook was sentenced to 20 days in jail on two FTA’s (failure to appear), plus court cost.
• Gregg Dodd, Jr. was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail on an FTA, plus court costs.
• Bryson D. Martin was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail for VOP.
• Brandon Qualls was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail for an FTA, plus court costs.
• Michael Stone was sentenced to 30 days supervised probation, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment, and a $10 fine for public intoxication.
• Billy Bess was ordered to serve 80 days in jail for a VOP. Bess also pled guilty to resisting arrest and received 30 days, concurrent to the VOP.
• Troy Allen Cunningham was sentenced to serve 60 days in jail for simple possession of methamphetamine and a Schedule III drug, two $750 fines, plus court cost.
• Jesse Foe was ordered to serve 6 months in jail and pay court costs for assault with physical contact and 30 days in jail for driving on a revoked license. These are to run concurrently.
• Elijah Fults had a preliminary hearing on a third offense of domestic assault. The court found probable cause to bind his matters over the next term of the grand jury.
• Kurtis Michael Grubbs was sentenced to serve 9 days in jail of 11 months and 29 days, the balance on supervised probation, undergo mental health treatment, and pay court costs for possession of a handgun while under the influence.
• Ethan Hughes was ordered to serve 30 days in jail for criminal trespass, resisting arrest, and unlawful drug paraphernalia, pay a $150 fine, plus court costs.
• Adam Irish waived his preliminary hearing and bound his matter over to the next term of the grand jury. He is charged with vandalism up to $1,000.
• Christopher Johnson waived his preliminary hearing and bound his matter over to the next term of the grand jury. He is charged with sale and delivery of a Schedule III drug and driving unregistered vehicle on roadway.
• Trystan Richardson pled to theft and received 11-29 supervised probation plus court costs and restitution to victim (the restitution was previously paid).
• Steven Riva pled to vandalism and received 6 months unsupervised probation, $500 restitution, and a stay away order for Walmart.
• Juan Tomas Rodriguez was issued an FTA, his bond was forfeited and his new bond was set at $5,000 for aggravated assault
• Reginald Rogers was sentenced to 20 days in jail for two FTA’s and sentenced to serve 5 days of an 11-29 supervised probation sentence for prescription drug fraud, plus court costs.
• Samuel Tanner was issued an FTA for simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $4,000.
• Timothy Thomas pled guilty to a VOP and was ordered to serve 45 days in jail.
• Kieren Walker pled guilty to domestic assault and to serve 27 days in jail of an 11-29 probation sentence, the balance on supervised probation, attend anger management classes, mental health evaluation, alcohol and drug assessment, and pay court cost.
• Eric Wood waived his preliminary hearing and bound his matters over to the next term of the grand jury. He is charged with simple possession of methamphetamine and simple possession of marijuana.
• Jacob Simpson was arraigned; the public defender was appointed to represent him on a criminal homicide charge. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 14. Bond remains at $1,000,000.
