Trial and arraignment criminal dockets were heard in General Sessions Court on Tuesday, Dec. 12 by Judge Ryan J. Moore. Included in Tuesday’s actions:
• Shannon Babich pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license second or subsequent offense and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, plus court costs. She also pleaded guilty to unlawful drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, $150 fine, ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.
• Emmett M. Beals pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 45 days in jail, plus court costs.
• Xavier Dashon Bonner was sentenced to 10 days in jail for a failure to appear, plus court costs.
• Jeffery Dunlap’s bond was revoked for failure to appear. A hold without bond was set; he is charged with a violation of probation.
• Brittany Nicole Rhoady pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 45 days in jail, plus court costs.
• Melinda May Aramburo pleaded guilty to theft of merchandise and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to pay court costs, restitution to victim, banned from victim’s premises, and ordered to pay a $75 fine to the economic crime fund.
• Brandon Dale Boling had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and violation of bond conditions.
• Joyce Lynne Carroll waived her right to a preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
• John Carver had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with aggravated assault.
• Rodrick Laray Cook pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a violation of an order of protection and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, pay court costs and ordered to stay away from the victim. These sentences run consecutively.
• Michael Christopher Demoor was admitted into the Second Chance Program. He is charged with domestic assault and ordered to complete an anger management course, pay court costs and have no further problems. This matter will be reviewed in June.
• Bobby Joe Fann was ordered to pay restitution to the victim and court costs. He is charged with Assault and vandalism. This matter will be reviewed in May.
• A failure to appear was issued against Jeffery Bradley Green. His bond was forfeited and a new bond was set at $20,000. He is charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and financial exploitation of an elderly or vulnerable person.
• Sallie Lane pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, ordered to forfeit the weapon and pay court costs.
• Larry Albert Lawson pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to violation of a bond condition and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively.
• Cynthia Marx waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case to the grand jury. She is charged with aggravated assault and violation of a bond condition.
• Oscar Ortiz Miller pleaded guilty to vandalism and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to another charge of vandalism and was sentenced to 120 days in jail. These sentences run consecutively.
• Frederick Joseph Piazza pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, ordered to stay away from the victim, successfully complete an anger management course, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment.
• Tiffany Danielle Ramsey pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, $50 fine, plus court costs. She was also banned from the victim’s premises.
• Phillip Matthew Shook pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 20 days in jail, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a violation of community supervision and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, plus court costs. These sentences run consecutively.
• Brandon J. Solomon pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 20 days in jail, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to another count of criminal trespass and was sentenced to 20 days in jail. These sentences run consecutively.
• Gregory Sowell pleaded guilty to stalking and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 60 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, pay court costs and ordered to stay away from the victim. He also pleaded guilty to evading arrest and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 60 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, plus court costs. These sentences run concurrently.
• Timothy Duane Thomas pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Brian Tidenberg waived his preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with simple possession, possession of a firearm with the intent to commit a dangerous felony, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
• A failure to appear was issued against Heidi Anne Vanagriff and a bond was set at $5,000. She is charged with theft of merchandise and criminal trespass.
