A man who was inches away from shooting another man in the head has been bound to the grand jury on attempted murder charges.
Paul Knight Jr. was bound to the grand jury by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke on the charge of attempted first-degree murder. He is charged with putting a gun to the head of Jason Crouch. The gun went off as the victim pushed the gun away. Crouch was injured during the confrontation with Knight but escaped being wounded by the gunshot.

Dorothea Lopez was bound to the grand jury on the charge of aggravated assault. She is charged with going to a woman’s house and cutting the victim.
Michael Jennings was ordered to serve 30 days and pay $50 plus costs for falsification of a drug test. He is charged with trying to use a Wiz-o-nater to try to pass his court-ordered drug test.
James Sain was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs for possession of cocaine. He must also serve the balance of his former sentence for violation of probation.
Chelsea Jones was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for joyriding.
Adam Wirgau was directed to serve 120 days of an 11-29 sentence and make restitution and was warned to stay out of Walmart for theft and violation of probation.
Felicia Basham was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.
Thomas H. Rains was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence for assault.
Timothy Ungaro was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence for assault.
Carlos Godsey Jr. was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must undergo batterer intervention for domestic assault.
Joshua H. Grissom was bound to the grand jury on the charge of violating an order of protection.
Donna Arms was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence for assault.
Devon Rymer must serve 30 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.
Anthony Moore was given an 11-29 sentence but released on time-served for violation of probation.
Billy Bowdoin must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
Derrick Carver must serve 30 days for violation of probation.
Allen W. Sims must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
Sherry Clark must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.
Kellie Hennessee must serve 30 days for violation of probation.
