Sentences were handed down Tuesday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Court. Included in court action:
Jeremy Barnes was given an 11-month, 29-day sentence and must pay $2,994 for possession of morphine and meth.
John Lillard Jr. was issued an 11-29 sentence and must pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs.
Savannah Bell was directed to serve 92 days of a six-month sentence for possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation, and failure to appear in court.
Jimmy McCormick was ordered to serve 30 days and pay $150 plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear in court. He must serve the balance of his former sentence for violation of probation.
Kenneth Bigham was bound to the grand jury on five counts of violating the sexual offender registry.
John M. Porter Jr. was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and must attend batterer intervention for domestic assault.
Macalah Smith was bound to the grand jury on the charge of violating an order of protection.
Liza Herriman was directed to serve 10 days of a six-month sentence for criminal impersonation. She was also bound to the grand jury on the charge of shoplifting.
William Reed was fined $10 plus costs for public intoxication. He had charges of possession of a handgun while under the influence dismissed but still must forfeit two of his guns.
Brittan Moran must pay $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
Christopher Cook was directed to serve two days and pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license and failure to appear in court.
Danice Knox was placed on probation for six months for passing a worthless check for $90.
Carrie Arnold was bound to the grand jury on three counts of passing worthless checks.
Vanessa Lute must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
Brittany Taylor was directed to serve 120 days for violation of probation.
Dakota West was ordered to serve 90 days for violation of probation.
Billy Bishop was directed to serve 14 days for violation of probation.
Leann Brooks must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
Jennifer Ham must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
Johnny Ledbetter was ordered to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence for violation of probation.
Billy Jack Nelson was ordered to serve 45 days and have his probation extended by a year for violation of probation.
Michael Roller was placed on house arrest for 30 days for violation of probation.
Sandra Stone had her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
Benjamin Taylor was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence for violation of probation.
Kelly Willis must serve the balance of sentence for violation of probation.
