A man who stomped his girlfriend’s foot after he went missing for a week has been sentenced to four months in jail.The man, Buck Williams, 34, was ordered by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to serve 150 days of a five-year sentence and undergo batterer intervention classes for aggravated assault. He was also warned not to contact the victim.The charges against him were brought after he returned home on Hardaway Street after being missing for an extended period. His girlfriend said he became abusive after acting strangely upon his return.“After being gone for six days and appearing to be under the influence of drugs, talking to unseen persons in the next room, he became abusive,” the victim swore in her warrant against her live-in boyfriend.
