In the United States, 1-in-3 women and 1-in-6 men experience some form of contact sexual violence in their lifetime. Families in Crisis is raising awareness with a free showing of “Audrie & Daisy” at Park Theater on April 12 at 6 p.m. for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. “It is an urgent, real-life drama that examines the ripple effects on families, friends, schools and communities when two underage young women find that sexual assault crimes against them have been caught on camera,” said Kristy Stubblefield, executive director Families in Crisis.
